With the process. If the bot is offline in the member list, the program has almost always stopped running. Check on the server that the process is active and read the logs for the error that took it down. My bot is online but does not respond to commands. Why? In that case the program is running, but something is blocking the reply. The usual causes are a missing message content intent, no permission in the channel or a rate limit. Check these three before touching your code. How do I know if the token is invalid? An invalid token usually produces an authentication error in the log, such as a login failure. It happens when the token was reset or revoked. Generate a new one in the portal and update the environment variable. Does a rate limit take the bot down? No, but it makes the bot look frozen, because it has to wait before acting. A restart loop can make it worse.
