Servers hosted in Brazil, like StreetHosting's in São Paulo, usually respond in under 30 ms for most of the country. ## It shows offline: now what?[](https://streethosting.com.br/en/guides/minecraft/check-minecraft-server-status#servidor-offline) An offline result means the server did not answer the query. Before concluding that it is down, check these in order: * **Wrong IP:** a single swapped character is enough to break the query. Copy and paste the address instead of typing it. * **Wrong port:** Java uses 25565 by default and Bedrock uses 19132. Servers on custom ports need the `ip:port` format. * **Server restarting:** during a restart or an update, the status stays offline for a few minutes. Wait and test again. * **Server really down:** if none of that fixes it, the problem is on the server side. Let the owner know or, if the server is yours, check your hosting control panel. The most common ones: * **Different version:** the version field in the status shows what the server accepts. Change your game version or ask the owner to install multi-version support. * **Active whitelist:**your username has to be approved.
