For a home, use `/sethome`. LuckPerms controls the limits and the permissions for who can create or use each point. ## What warps and homes are[](https://streethosting.com.br/en/guides/minecraft/minecraft-server-warps-and-homes#o-que-sao-warps) **Warps** are public teleport points that admins create for the server. Any player with permission can type `/warp shop`, for example, and appear instantly at the server shop. A **home** is a point saved individually by each player. Players set where they want to return with `/sethome` and go back there with `/home` at any time. Both features are fundamental on survival and RPG servers. ## Install EssentialsX[](https://streethosting.com.br/en/guides/minecraft/minecraft-server-warps-and-homes#essentialsx) EssentialsX is a suite of plugins that includes warps, homes, kits, spawn and a lot more. To install it: 1. Download EssentialsX from the official site (essentialsx.net) or from SpigotMC. 2. Put the jar file in the server's **plugins** folder. 3. Restart the server to generate the configuration files. EssentialsX on its own already includes warps and homes. You do not need an extra plugin for those features. See the [most popular plugins](https://streethosting.com.br/en/guides/minecraft/best-minecraft-plugins) to round out your server. ## Create warps[](https://streethosting.com.br/en/guides/minecraft/minecraft-server-warps-and-homes#criar-warp) With EssentialsX running, use these commands in game (with admin permission) or in the console: * `/setwarp name` creates a warp at the spot where you are standing * `/warp name` takes you to the warp * `/warps` lists all available warps * `/delwarp name` removes a warp Common warp names on Brazilian servers: _spawn_, _shop_, _pvp_, _mine_, _farm_, _ranks_. ## The home system[](https://streethosting.com.br/en/guides/minecraft/minecraft-server-warps-and-homes#sistema-home) The home system is configured in EssentialsX's **config.yml** file. The main commands: * `/sethome` sets the home at your current position * `/home` teleports you to your saved home * `/home name` if the player has multiple homes, goes to the home with that name * `/delhome name` removes a specific home By default, a home teleport has a delay of a few seconds. If the player moves during the delay, the teleport is canceled. This stops players from escaping combat by using a home. ## Permissions and limits[](https://streethosting.com.br/en/guides/minecraft/minecraft-server-warps-and-homes#permissoes) To control how many homes each group of players can have, configure LuckPerms with the permission `essentials.sethome.multiple.X`, where X is the number of homes allowed. By default EssentialsX allows one home per player. You can raise the limit per permission group. Players with a VIP rank can have more homes than regular players, for example. Does /warp work between different worlds? Yes. A warp takes the player to the exact spot where it was created, regardless of the world. It is useful for building travel portals between your survival, creative and minigame worlds. Can I restrict who can use a specific warp? Yes. EssentialsX supports per-warp permissions. In LuckPerms you set the essentials.warps.warpname permission to grant access only to specific groups. How do I remove a warp I no longer use? Use the /delwarp warpname command in the console or in game with admin permission. The warp is removed from the list immediately.
