An FXServer is sensitive to badly written scripts: bigger hardware will not save an unoptimized setup. ## FiveM bottlenecks[](https://streethosting.com.br/en/guides/vps/fivem-server-sizing-ryzen-vps#gargalos-fivem) The FXServer main thread, the external database, streaming assets and proximity voice all compete for CPU and I/O. Before buying a bigger plan, audit your resources with a profiler and remove redundant scripts. ## Sizing RAM and CPU[](https://streethosting.com.br/en/guides/vps/fivem-server-sizing-ryzen-vps#dimensionar-ram) | Stage | Base RAM | CPU | | ---------------- | ------------- | ----------------------------- | | Closed test | 4 to 8 GB | 2 Ryzen vCPU | | Public launch | 8 to 16 GB | 4 Ryzen vCPU | | Established city | 16 GB or more | Dedicated Ryzen or bare metal | ### Compare the lines Read [Ryzen vs Xeon](https://streethosting.com.br/en/guides/vps/ryzen-vs-xeon-vps) and the [Ryzen VPS for FiveM](https://streethosting.com.br/en/guides/vps/ryzen-vps-for-fivem-brazil) guide. Until then, look at [VPS plans](https://streethosting.com.br/en/vps) with linear upgrades. It depends on the number and quality of resources. A light city with optimized scripts handles dozens of players. A setup with hundreds of custom assets and a heavy economy may need 16 GB or more even with fewer slots. Does Xeon work for FiveM? For smaller cities with a focus on fixed cost, it can work. Ryzen usually delivers better server frame time during player peaks and simultaneous online police. Is Anti-DDoS critical? Yes. Popular cities are frequent targets. Gaming-grade UDP mitigation and public IP protection are a requirement, not a luxury. Next step See Ryzen VPS Ryzen 9 9950X VPS in São Paulo with root access, NVMe and gamer Anti-DDoS.
