Most corporate sites and stores do fine on a Xeon VPS with multiple PHP workers. Ryzen helps when there is heavy synchronous processing or plugins that are very aggressive on the CPU. Is Redis mandatory? No, but an object cache reduces MySQL load on dynamic pages. Under high traffic, Redis usually pays back its operating cost quickly. How many vCPU for 100,000 pageviews? It depends on the cache hit rate and the plugins. With aggressive page caching, 2 to 4 vCPU may be enough. A WooCommerce store without caching needs more, plus close monitoring.
